The Outreach Committee invites you to join with them in learning about the origins and work of the non-profit mission organization based in Norwich founded by Dr. Jeremiah J. Lowney back in 1982. Our speaker, Marilyn Lowney, has accompanied her father and volunteers for home building work weeks through the years and will also speak about those experiences and the possibility of those from the local churches to participate in future “work camps.” The members of the First Congregational Church raised and contributed funds to sponsor the construction of two more homes during this past Advent/Christmas season, bringing the total donated by the church to 8 homes.
 
The program will begin with coffee and refreshments at 7:30pm and conclude about 8:30pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 and anyone interested is welcome to come and participate.
