Our Environmental Justice Committee is hosting a potluck dinner and discussion on Permaculture & Sustainability with special guest William Hooper.
Permaculture is a deliberate empirical, proactive, and regenerative approach to meeting the needs of humans from food to fulfillment. Its techniques and approaches look to build systems of production and provision in forms that can endure indefinitely.
William Hooper grew up in the woods and in the garden. He did undergraduate work in the natural sciences and sustainability, taught science to gifted students, completed the Permaculture Design Certification and both writes and teaches permaculture methods in Connecticut.
Informally, William plants things wherever he goes!
