Did you see the snow flurries? Is it that time again? With the change of the weather it means that Thanksgiving and Advent are almost upon us. Here are some events to consider in the days ahead….
November 16- FRIDAY
St. Francis Church is hosting a showing of the 1961 movie, Francis of Assisi– 7 pm
November 17- SATURDAY
Harvest Fair– 9am- 3pm
Vendors, crafts, baked goods, silent auction, general store, quilt and basket raffle, luncheon.
Roast Pork Dinner– 5 pm
Adults $12, Children $10, Under 5- Free
Peace and Love Walk– 7:30 pm (gather behind the church)
No speeches, no sermons, a few songs of love and peace. A gathering to show our unity in love and peace. All are welcome!!! Bring Your Own Candle/Lantern
November 18- SUNDAY
Stewardship Sunday Worship- 10 am
What Shall We Bring? Let’s all bring our Pledge Cards and place them in a special offering of thanksgiving and bless the mission and ministry of our church
A Celebration of Life Service for Helen Mahoney Champe– 12:30pm- at the church
Calling hours Saturday, 3-5 pm at the Church and Allen Funeral Home
WAIM Walk for Warmth, 1 pm. St. Joseph’s Church, Willimantic
Thanksgiving Ecumenical Service, 7pm, Lebanon Baptist Church
Please bring a non-perishable food or toiletry item for Neighbors Helping Neighbors
