I don’t know what time the preparations began.
I know that workers didn’t leave until 8:45 Saturday night.
And I know that there is still leftover work to be done.
Saturday- was an amazing day in the life of our church.
It is because of these events when we work side by side…
When we fling open our doors and greet our friends and neighbors…
When we all work toward a common goals
- we don’t do it for the glory
- we don’t do it for the recognition
- we don’t do it for divine reward
We do these things because we are servants.
We do these things because we love our church.
We do these things because we know that when we work together, and only when we work together—we can achieve amazing results and by golly, we can have fun while we’re doing it!
So, thanks to all of you—and thanks be to God. Amen.
in Thanksgiving,
Rev. Will
