Memorial Fund for Education Application

Scholarships from the Memorial Fund for Education are awarded by the Board of Deacons.  The funds are made available from the monies accrued from the Memorial Fund For Education, comprised of memorial gifts to the church designated for this specific purpose.

Upon application, the scholarship is granted to accepted High School Seniors who are members of our First Congregational Church of Lebanon.  Also considered  as recipients are matriculated Master of Divinity students who are members of our church.

Criteria used in determining scholarship recipients includes:

1-  Church membership

2-  Active Church participation

In addition:

For a high school senior:  Needs to be seeking further studies/training in a designated institution

For the Master of Divinity candidate:  Needs to be a matriculated student

Applications:

• are available year round in the church and on the Church website
• are to be submitted to the Deacons the last week of April

Scholarship recipients should plan to be present at our church worship service on a designated Sunday in June to receive their scholarships.
